| This is the church of Saint Eleftherios in Acharnon street. Our area took its name by the church. It is near our school. | |

| This is the church of Santa Barbara. It’s not near our neighborhood but it’s in our area. It is smaller than the previous one and we do not go there because we always go to Saint Elftherios church |

| This is the Ster cinemas, a place where all teenagers go and have fun! It was built three years ago and there are Ster cinemas in other cities, too, as in Patra and in Thessaloniki. Apart from watching a movie, you can also go to the cafes or to the internet cafe and buy jewels or do piercing. |
This is another cinema
that is called Oscar. It’s smaller than Ster and it doesn’t have so many
facilities. Also it’s far from our school so it’s not so convenient. |

| Here is the only "river" that we have in our neighborhood. As you can see there is little water and most of the time it is dry. It’s name is “Podoniftis” which means the basin used for washing one’s feet! Near the “river” there are basketball fields. | |

| This is a large super market in our neighborhood. | Kiosks like this one sell almost everything and are open very long hours, even on Sundays. but more than that, a good kiosk owner will be able to advise you on a number of matters regarding his neighborhood: where the closest bus stop is, the opening hours of shops and much much more |
